This one-day course will provide an introduction to the ethical framework that guides professional chemists in the conduct of their duties. The objective of this course is two-fold: to ensure a working knowledge of the fundamental ethical concepts embedded in Professional Chemist accreditation and to learn how to analyze work-related ethical situations and make the best possible decisions.

Exam
A short written exam will be given at the end of the course to evaluate the progress of the participant in developing ethical decision-making skills. This exam will be based on a case study.
Anyone attending the course and successfully passing this exam will receive a completion certificate. Those receiving this certificate will have completed the ethics course requirement of the ACPA.
